I am an award-winning writer and director whose work spans short films, music videos, commercials, documentaries, and virtual reality content. I’ve spearheaded development of some of the world’s most acclaimed VR experiences, including MULE and NIGHT NIGHT, produced by Dark Corner Studios where I am Creative Director. My work has been awarded with Vimeo Staff Picks, “Best Short Film” from the London Independent Film Awards, “Best Horror Film” from the Los Angeles Film Awards, and screened at events all over the world including Venice, Tribeca, AFI Fest, Sitges, Fantastic Fest, New York, Cinequest, and many more. Name a Horror character you relate to on a spiritual level? Who is your Horror spirit animal?
I guess anyone who gets lost and disappears into The Gloom (or The Twilight) in the Night Watch movies.
Do you consider yourself part of a horror community?
Yes, absolutely, although we like to call it the genre community. And the cost of membership is that most of us had weird childhoods.
Who would be on your ultimate horror villain squad?
I’d like to drop a Quiet Place monster into a giant horde of Train to Busan or World War Z zombies, just to see what would happen. That shit would be nuts.
