Name a Horror character you relate to on a spiritual level? Who is your Horror spirit animal?
Don’t know if I can say that I relate to him on a spiritual level but The Pale Man on PAN’S LABYRINTH is really freakin’ cool.

You’ve gotta go through some bad ideas to get to the good ones. Tell us one of your bad ideas. How do you get past the bad ones to find your spark?
We don’t kiss and tell… But I can say that the bad ideas usually don’t feel totally right. The most important thing is follow your gut and keep brainstorming until you get it right.

Do you consider yourself part of a horror community?

When you’re building the world of your film, where do you look for inspiration?
My inspirations are always related to Art. So books, films and museums are a must.

What would you do if you woke up inside of your film?
Take a blood bath.

Who would be on your ultimate horror villain squad?
Would be a very weird squad I guess! The Joker (THE DARK KNIGHT), Charlie (HEREDITARY) and, of course, The Pale Man (PAN’S LABYRINTH).

Lightning round: Freddy or Jason? Stephen King or H.P. Lovecraft? Practical or CGI? Post Apocalypse or Pre Apocalypse?
Freddy, Stephen King, practical always, Post Apocalypse.

And finally, Ghostface would like to know ‘What’s your favourite scary movie?’ RAW, UNDER THE SKIN, GOODNIGHT MOMMY, EYES OF MY MOTHER.
