Name a Horror character you relate to on a spiritual level? Who is your Horror spirit animal?
Flyboy from Dawn of the Dead. He’s a bit of a coward but has a good heart. He always tried to do the best thing but things always seemed to go against him. My animal is the jump scare cat from the beginning of Friday 13th Part 2.

You’ve gotta go through some bad ideas to get to the good ones. Tell us one of your bad ideas. How do you get past the bad ones to find your spark?
I’m still trying to get passed my bad ideas. I don’t think I’ve overcome them yet.

Do you consider yourself part of a horror community?
I watched Evil Dead in 1981 when I was 6. And I haven’t stopped watching gut chomping since.

When you’re building the world of your film, where do you look for inspiration?
Hospital waiting rooms

What would you do if you woke up inside of your film?

Who would be on your ultimate horror villain squad?
Leslie Nielsen from Creepshow, Tom Atkins from Halloween Season of the Witch, and Jaws the shark

Lightning round: Freddy or Jason? Stephen King or H.P. Lovecraft? Practical or CGI? Post Apocalypse or Pre Apocalypse?
Jason, King, Practical, Post Apocalypse

How do you go about creating the props and sets for your film? How do you create objects that are relatable but unfamiliar?
I always try to do things as cheaply (but greatly) as possible. Cardboard, cardboard, cardboard.

And finally, Ghostface would like to know ‘What’s your favourite scary movie?’
Jaws (yes, it is a horror film!)
